Dance is one of the oldest performing arts and the performance element is an important part of a complete dance education. We provide our students the opportunity to perform in our annual Nutcracker performance, our Spring Recital and even more through our CDA Company team.
The Nutcracker
An annual performance of the Nutcracker ballet that is open to all CDA students. Every season, Connolly Dance Arts enchants our community with the holiday favorite, The Nutcracker. CDA students who participate in our summer Ballet Intensive are guaranteed a part in the performance. (Dancers must also be enrolled in a weekly ballet class at CDA.)
Requirements
- Ages 5 and up
- Enrolled in a ballet class
- Must audition
- Attend the Summer Ballet Intensive
- If you attend the Summer Ballet Intensive you are guaranteed a spot in the performance
